Our Recycled timber flooring must be seen to be believed! We salvage Australian hardwoods from locations of interest throughout
Queensland and New South Wales. These salvaged timbers are brought to our saw mill here at Darra, where they are re-milled into flooring.
Our recycled timber flooring is available in a range of sizes and colours. We sell “Mixed Blondes” – these are the timbers such as Blackbutt, Ash, Tallowwood and the pale Spotted Gum colours; “Mixed Red/Browns” – the Iron Bark, Bluegum, darker Spotted Gums; or “Full Mix” – all of the beautiful colours together, for a very Australian look.

We re-mill our recycled timbers into flooring so that you have an “as new” product. You get the benefit of newly milled tongue & grooves, along with the look and characteristics of recycled timber flooring. A winning combination. This is remilled flooring.

One of the products often requested by discerning buyers is our wide-board flooring. We salvage old posts and beams, joists and bearers from large, old structures, and we then mill this material into flooring. Our recycled wide-board flooring is a real show stopper, and will be a focal point in any application.

Another range growing in popularity is “reclaimed” timber flooring. Reclaimed timber flooring is flooring salvaged from homes, hotels, woolstores etc., for a look that suits well in either a rustic or industrial setting. So whether you are after the look of remilled flooring or reclaimed flooring – see The Big Red Shed – Brisbane’s original recycled timber specialists.
